The traditional 10th International Conference on the Nuclear Option in Countries with Small and Medium Electricity Grids was held in June, 1 to 4, 2014 in Zadar, Croatia. The Conference was organized by Croatian Nuclear Society in cooperation with IAEA, DZRNS and University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, and sponsored by European Nuclear Society.
In the Conference participated 120 specialists, representatives of different organizations and countries, including Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Austria, Romania, Germany, USA, Great Britain, Italy, Ukraine, Bulgaria and others.
At the Conference were presented 12 reports on the Plenary Sessions, describing the direction of development in the corresponding fields, 33 reports distributed in eight sessions depending on the topics and 23 reports presented at the Poster session. The Round table on topic “Fulfillment of EURATOM Directive 2011/70 requirements in countries with small nuclear program” called forth a lively discussion.
